Well they didn't need Rice last night as the Ravens tore the Steelers a new one last night. I think the NFL is being a bit too harsh in suspending Rice though. A fine and a ban of a couple of games to show they mean business fine but a suspension ? Come on. He is a moron for hitting her with his size but he didn't try and intentionally knock her out. And she herself has come out and said to the media to stop airing the video and making a big deal about what happened.

LMAO. That is what Rice basically did except he made a fist. Same amount of force. He didn't try to knock the woman out. The railing did that. He should be punished but not to the degree of being suspended by the NFL. His woman even protected him after.

What victim? You mean the wife? She's not a victim but a willing subject defending herself being savagely beaten.
Now how am I being harsh against the wife?
I never laid a hand on her.
It's her man being harsh on her, and she being harsh on herself defending it.
I have nothing to do with that.
I just don't see a masochist as a victim. A masochist gets something out of being abused.

People forget that there is a time and place for violence. Even violence against women.
Sometimes calm sweet words don't solve the problem. Sometimes she hits you first. Sometimes she's beating your infant to death and you have to do something.
What galls me is that some of these same people who want to lock up every man who defends himself will stand up and defend the police when they tase an unarmed man 50 times.
