Accountancy boring or fun

People say accountancy is a boring job! Is that true or are people just exaggerating

VB is most qualify to answer this

Don't know much bout accountin but I do know that when liabilities exceeds assets , you in trouble

i still have forty thousand for stock market but want to increase my business knowledge.

Accountancy  is okay once you get past the bean counting stage :

Finance is where its at : If in Toronto pursue the CFA

You will be better equipped for Investment and your personal Stock portfolio !

That's a lie!
Accounting is not boring.....especially if you work for a large corporation!
(working at your own business or in an accounting firm (auditing) can get tedious and repetitive....but it's a good way to get your 'feet wet')  my new manager, right after she graduated, worked for Deloitte for 4 years, gained lots of experience and is now a manager for a very large business.
I am always dealing with every other department within the business.....no time to get bored.

if it's one thing i don't like about account is the deadlines.
almost on a daily basis you have to get things done.
and then you have monthends and yearends.....and audits - external and internal.
I am very limited to what days in the month i can take off - I know not to even request certain days.

Belle,  Accounting is recording.  yes, lots of deadlines and many requirements etc.  But no creativity.

Finance is more exciting...u get to play with numbers.  Ask Rev and Ketch.
