www.inewsguyana.com] – Leader of the Alliance for Change (AFC), Khemraj Ramjattan says that the proposed investors of the multimillion dollar Marriott Hotel in Georgetown are not pouring their money into the project.
Ramjattan told a news conference on Friday, September 26 that the investors are hesitant following statements by the AFC that they will review the project if the Party wins the General and Regional elections.
“The behaviour of all the investors, they feel that there will be elections. We have made a statement that we’re going to question all these economic activities on the part of the government, if we find anything illegal about them, we’re going to revoke them,†the AFC Leader told reporters.
According to Ramjattan, “I understand that these investors especially are concerned about that statement. We are not going to hold ourselves fettered by what the PPP would have concluded in certain arrangements.â€Marriot-300x168
