The Ministry of Health on Wednesday announced the imminent arrival of the Caribbean Medical Mission Medical Team from USA.
It said that the team will be donating substantial critical medical equipment and supplies including cardiac monitors, foetal monitors and Dopplers to the New Amsterdam Regional Hospital.
The team’s visit begins today and ends on November 2 during which time members will conduct clinics and medical outreaches at various locations throughout the country and perform surgeries in the field of obstetrics/gynaecology, and other major general surgeries at the New Amsterdam Regional Hospital, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health.
The team comprises doctors and nurses of varying specialties, all of whom reside and practice in the USA.
Always tell someone how you feel because opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regret can last a lifetime.

It is great news for the Guyanese public. What a pack of PPP no Brainers,Hypocrites and Opportunists. Get the Medical Assistance from the Advance and Modern day Doctors and Specialists. Don't bring Cuban, North Korean and Chinese Doctors who assault Patients and give Panadol Tablets for every ailments. The most negative aspect of bringing these Cuban, North Korean and Chinese Doctors, none of them know or speak proper English, and this is very important when communicating with any Patient. Further more they probably work for little or nothing in Guyana as they are all Experimental Students themselves.
