So you think men are supposed to brainwash women for sex and women are supposed to see that as caring?

Once again Kwami ruins a potentially good thread.
What brainwashing is I think is well known. You make someone believe in something they initially view as negative or are completely against. You go against their will. What I am curious to know is how these people (Muslim fundamentalists in particular) go about doing this. How do you take a college educated man that is 35 years old + and a US citizen and turn him completely against everything good and moral and convince him Islam has all the answers and make him into one of their drones. I would like to believe no one human being has that power over another and that the person who was brainwashed had some issues in the first place. Perhaps mentally weak and wanting to believe in something that made their life better as that is what Islam promises. I doubt they use any torcher because the hostage would simply associate Islam with pain then.

And he never fails to derail a thread to his wee wee. ::LOL::
And you're speaking my language Wulf. I feel the same way you do. How is it possible to get somebody to do something they're against? I say that it's impossible. Sometimes a person may seem to be against a certain thing but that doesn't mean that they literally are. There's something in their nature that's capable of doing it and willing to do it. My argument is that you can't get a person to do something that isn't in their nature or desire to do.

This is one instance when I actually agree with both of you. There were times in my youth when I had sex with women when I didn't want to ,. I did it out of the kindness of my heart . I wouldn't say that I was brainwashed into doing it , more like an obgligation

During the cold war, the USSR and USA had programs for brainwashing and turning patriots against there home states, also there are documented cases of mass coercive techniques used by the Government by tampering with the nation's water supply, it was thought that flouride mad a population more docile and more likely to be open to suggestion and sublimenol programming. None of it is "officially" provable ofcourse but, just food for thought.

So I've heard.
But I'm not buying it.
It's not hard to get a person to do wrong because wrongness is in our nature. That doesn't qualify as brainwash. We don't see anybody forced to do good. It's a lot easier to do wrong than to do right.
