President Obama may have signed legislation two weeks ago banning federal interference with state medical marijuana laws, but the U.S. attorney’s office, on behalf of President Obama’s Justice Department, still thinks pot is a dangerous drug with no medical value. In a court filing on Wednesday, the U.S. attorney’s office opposed a challenge to a federal law that classifies marijuana as a Schedule One drug, meaning it has a high potential for abuse and no safe medical use. There is “some dispute among doctors as to whether marijuana is medicine,†but there is evidence supporting the government’s conclusion that “this psychoactive, addictive drug is not accepted as safe for medical use at this time, even with medical supervision,†Assistant U.S. Attorney Gregory Broderick wrote.
Always tell someone how you feel because opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regret can last a lifetime.

Marijuana was never a problem with society until it was made a criminal matter. Since that time, stupidity seems to be the stand of the establishment regarding Marijuana. Things are changing, but the Prison Industry & Big Pharma like the profits they have made & do not want to see any change. As usual, Big Money is the factor keeping the stupidity alive.

I don't see pot as a dangerous drug because people don't go mugging, stealing, prostituting, or selling their children for it. But I don't see it as harmless either because it surely can lead to advancement to stronger drugs. So I'm personally against any drug, including alcohol. I usually drink one beer once a year on New Year's Eve and that's all. I'm not in favor of any kind of intoxication. I have one drink of beer on New Year's Eve and that's all I can pull off. ::LOL::
To me,
Nothing beats being sober.
Though I do understand that people need intoxication at times.
