One woman has died when a GO bus struck a guardrail and flipped over on its side into a ditch just 10 minutes before it was to reach its destination.
The single-vehicle crash took place in the eastbound lanes of Highway 407 at Weston Road in Vaughan around 10 p.m. The bus was en route from Hamilton to York University.
The Ontario Provincial Police said that six people, including the 66-year-old male driver from Hamilton, were on the bus when the crash happened. The passengers are all young adults between the ages of 18 to 23, OPP Sgt. Kerry Schmidt said.

A female passenger was ejected from the bus and died at the scene. Police are not releasing her identity until her next of kin has been notified.
The driver and two other female passengers were taken to hospital with minor injuries while two male passengers were unscathed.
