why are you so insistent on that angle?

if you have to ask that question it is clear you do not understand, don't have a clue, that you are riven by emotion on the question of america. that being the case it is impossible to engage you in discussion on the subject..not productive.

it is clear what you feel about america... but so what ::confused::

it makes no difference what you feel.  you are just an ordinary human being with an opinion of one..like all of us. how you feel is not decisive about anything.  from you, what could be decisive, and a positive contribution...is a good, solid argument on the position you take, based on facts, and analysis of those facts that support your conclusions. nothing else is useful or valid..certainly not your insistence on your angle of america/the question you post.

I'm asking because I know for a fact that the same problems stood in the east before there was anything such thing as America and the west. So how does does it all become the fault of America and the west? What are the facts?

Map, let me ask you this....

Let's say for instance, that America and the west totally disappears from the scene, pulls out, and has nothing more to say or do with any country in the east or anyplace else. My question is:

Do you think that the fighting and corruption in the east would stop?

Do you really believe that?

why don't you read that comment properly pattacake.  the difference between what you understood of it and what my comment means is quite contrary.  what said  does not have anything at all to do with what you grasped  of it

ketchim is right.  you appear to believe that you must comment on every single thread and subject on the board.  you don't have to you know.  you mess things up often by not grasping the meaning of the thread and crating a lot of unnecessary trouble

you make it hard for people not to get angry with you pattacake. you dont see that at all you know.  you have to wake up!  that is a silly question. an abstraction that is not possible.... it would be foolish to attempt to answer any such question, a waste of time.  there is no answer to propostions based on fantasy or abstraction, on bases that do not exist and cannot happen

we have to deal with the reality.  there is  reality,one unitary and whole reality to the world.  that s what we must deal with..as much of it as we know, on any day we are still in existence.  we are proving that reality and trying to improve our chances in it as we go

Okay, so if I ask you if the west pulls out as you say they should be kept out, do you believe that the corruption and fighting would stop, and then you say it's all one unitary. That they pulling out and things being different is silly. I'm being silly to ask such a question. That tells me that you don't believe things would be different if the west backed out and stayed out.

There's no winning with you Map, because on one hand you say they should be kept out and then on the other it's one unitary, which is also saying you don't literally want them to pull out. Which I can understand because if they did over two thirds of the world population would starve to death and and tear itself apart.

Without the western civilization, we would be an extinct species by now.
