Man, 60, dies after car crashes into pole in Oakville

A 60-year-old has died after the minivan he was driving slammed into a hydro pole at Lakeshore Road West and Fourth Line in Oakville.

Emergency crews were called to the scene around 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

The Oakville man was rushed to hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Police are still investigating whether the crash killed the man or if it was the result of a medical condition.

Police are not considering speed or alcohol factors in the collision.
