A man accused of dousing his niece in burning hot oil has been charged.

According to police, Jonathan Salinas poured scalding oil on the 13-year-old girl's face and back.

The teen was rushed to the hospital with second-degree burns early Thursday morning.

Salinas faces multiple charges, including two counts of assault
