If he's implying that the world would be better, then he's wrong, because it takes better parenting to make a better world, and without it religion is needed to carry people through life. They have to be given some kind of hope, no matter how false. And children reach the age of reason very early, about 4, which is when religion is taught to us. And parents teach their children religion because they don't know anything else to teach them, and they are certainly not role models of what they expect their children to be.
Most people who think they believe in religion really don't, but they still need it to be there to get them through life.

And believe it or not,
I don't think that religion is a bad thing. I just feel that the western civilization has ruined the original Akhut Mysteries and turned into pure misogynic and perverted insanity. It should be overhauled and reverted back to it's original state. With all of the allegories removed.
