While A Partnership for National Unity/ Alliance For Change (APNU/AFC) Presidential Candidate David Granger has reaffirmed that he will not be taking the stand at the Walter Rodney Commission of Inquiry (COI), the People’s Progressive Party/Civic (PPP/C) reiterated its call for the Opposition Leader to do so.
General Secretary of the PPP/C, Clement Rohee at a press conference on March 02, contended that Granger is being “conveniently selective†as it relates to issues and “deliberately withholding important information from his constituents which could serve to incriminate him and his Party and in the process do further damage to his electoral ambitions.â€
Rohee said that the Opposition Leader should justify his reluctance to appear before the COI and explain his role as an officer of the Guyana Defence Force.
Always tell someone how you feel because opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regret can last a lifetime.
