Good morning and blessings for a wonderful day!
Today I write to humbly ask of you for your Organization's intervention into what is about to take place in my beautiful homeland Guyana. Almost 50% of my Guyanese are heartbroken withe results from the polls that took place on Monday 11, May, 2015.
We have seen the Preliminary deceleration of results by Guyana Elections Commission(GECOM). These results were issued with a glaring attestation that this election was carried out with acts of skulduggery. As was indicated by the CEO the false Statement of Polls(SOP) is a clear indication of what took place that day. I know that your Centre along with other observer missions have declared the elections free and fair, this is only to the point of your checking and this should be clear with the people of the nation, the election was free and fair up to that point. One must remember the verification of Polls must be completed before a statement of "free and fair" election is announced.
At this point the fraudulent incidents which have been highlighted by GECOM have definitely proof that the Elections were far from free and fair.
At this juncture I am making this call to your organization to assist a nation in what you believe in and what you stand for thereby requesting that the final declaration be put on hold pending the complete recount of all ballots cast on E-day or declear the election null and void. The world believes in the work you do our nation believes in your work, you have assisted in the bring back of democracy to our beloved Guyana in 1992. Please do not prove the people you serve wrong. A nations future is in your hands and we look forward for your intervention at this time.
