TRINIDAD-EARTHQUAKE-Trinidad jolted by earthquake
PORT OF SPAIN, Trinidad, May 21, CMC – An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.6 jolted Trinidad and Tobago on Thursday but there were no immediate reports of injuries or damage..
The quake, which was also felt in Grenada, occurred at 9.25 am local time, the Seismic Research Unit of the University of the West Indies (UWI) reported.
UWI said that the quake was at a depth of 44 kilometres and was located 11.24 degrees North and 61.87 degrees west, just north of the Gulf of Paria.
Three days earlier, an earthquake with a magnitude of 3.4 was felt there.
