September 7 is E-Day.

Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar is taking it down to the wire—naming a general election date which falls just nine days shy of the constitutional deadline for the calling of elections (September 16).

It's going to be a long campaign of 12 weeks of political battle.
