Leave Jack Alone!

“LEAVE Jack alone!”

This was the collective cry of some 100 “concerned” citizens who gathered outside the Parliament building when embattled Member of Parliament Jack Warner was approached by members of the media, both local and international, today.

Warner arrived around 1:20 p.m.

The Parliament sitting started at 1.30 p.m.

When the local and foreign media gathered outside the building noticed Warner approaching they ran toward him.

The Parliament's police formed a perimeter around Warner.

Six of them shielded him from the media.

The people gathered outside shouted for his protection.

“Leave him alone!” they shouted.

All Warner told the media while walking into Parliament building was his afternoon itinerary.

Warner is scheduled to go Beetham Gardens at 4.30 p.m.

Last week Friday a member of the international media was allegedly accosted by one of Warner's security.
