The Trinidad and Tobago Inter-Island Transportation Company (TTIT) has advised that due to severe weather conditions Monday's 5pm sailing of the T&T Express from Port-of-Spain has been cancelled.
A TTTIT media release stated that passengers with confirmed tickets for the sailing will be accomodated on Tuesday at 6.30am.
"TTIT regrets any inconvenience that may be caused with the change in schedule. The public is advised that the weather conditions will be monitored and the necessary arrangements will be made to ensure the safety of passengers, vehicles and personnel on board the ferriesl," the release stated.
At noon the Priority Bus Route (PBR) was opened until further notice as a result of the flooding caused by torrential rainfall.
The Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service issued a bulletin on its Facebook page stating that the country has been experiencing “cloudy conditions with periods of rain and showers, some of which have been moderate to heavy to intensity."
Always tell someone how you feel because opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regret can last a lifetime.
