NY tickets selling fast

Today's quarter-final doubleheader featuring Trinidad and Tobago against Panama and Mexico versus Costa Rica, set to take place at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, has sold more tickets than any other event on the CONCACAF schedule on the TicketNetwork.com marketplace.
It has resulted in a huge number of online ticket sales compared to the first quarter-final double-header, featuring the United States, Cuba, Haiti and Jamaica, played in Baltimore, Maryland, last night.
The difference can largely be attributed to location and teams.
With today's quarter-final being held in the New York area, it represents the largest sports market in the US with a high density of football fans from many countries. In addition, the event features the Mexican national team, which has continually been the top-selling national team on the TicketNetwork.com marketplace throughout 2015.
As the stakes grow for the teams and players, fan interest and ticket demand has also seen an increase for the remaining rounds of the tournament.
The winners from this weekend's games will meet in a semi-final doubleheader, which will be played at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta, Georgia, on Wednesday. Currently, the event has an average ticket-selling price of US$104, with a lowest price of US$40. The CONCACAF final is scheduled for next Sunday in Philadelphia and currently has an average ticket-selling price of US$133 and lowest price of US$40.
