DANA’S MURDER: ABU BAKR HELD FOR QUESTIONING

LEADER of the Jamaat al Muslimeen Yasin Abu Bakr is one of people ten taken into custody by the police for questioning in the murder of attorney Dana Seetahal according to reports in trinidad express.com.

At around 12.05a.m. on May 4, 2014, Seetahal was assassinated while driving her Volkswagen Touareg SUV near the One Woodbrook Place, Port of Spain, when she was shot multiple times and died at the scene.

DETAINED

At around 6a.m on Monday, officers from the Western Division, Guard and Emergency Branch, Criminal Gang and Intelligence Unit and Port of Spain Division went the man’s home at Long Circular Road, Port of Spain, and executed a search warrant for arms and ammunition. Officers also looked for documents.

Abu Bakr was detained along with several other men who were at the house.
