New York Jets coach Todd Bowles announced Tuesday that the team’s quarterback, Geno Smith, will be out for “at least†six to 10 weeks after teammate IK Enemkpali “sucker punched†him and broke his jaw. “There was an altercation in the locker room [Tuesday morning],†Bowles said. “It had nothing to do with football. It was something very childish. And he got cold cocked, sucker punched, whatever you want to call it, in the jaw. He has a broken jaw, fractured jaw, requires some surgery.†Bowles added that Enemkpali, a second-year outside linebacker, has been released from the team.

that's the end for both of them.
I will bet any money that Todd Bowles begins a search for a new QB immediately. and if all goes well with that Geno Smith will be released in 6 to 10 weeks.
The Jets will prolly try to trade Geno but there will be no takers. no team will risk Geno who has proven himself to be very high risk indeed..for the iffy QB he is. not worth the effort.
I blame Geno for the altercation. your fellow player asks you to attend his event and sends you a plane ticket for 600.00 dollars. but someone close to you dies and you have to go there instead.
so the next time you see you colleague you say "Man..my people died and I had to go home. I could not make your event,. here's your money!'
but Geno had used the money to pay for the ticket home to his people, promised to pay it back but was prevaricating all to hell about it. in other words he was giving his colleague the run-around. and from reports was very in your face about it..where upon his colleague punched him out, broke his jaw and both are done in the NFL
that was the most stupid behavior imaginable by Geno. that's his problem-geno..ego driven stupidity. well he has lost it all now. he caused that altercation and that is high risk behavior. no one will touch him now. he is done in the NFL. he better look for another sport to play

yes! his jaw is broken isnt it ::confused:: he is out isnt he ::confused::
it is clear he chose the wrong man to piss off. that is a consequence of stupidity..high risk behavior when a man does stuff like that..to sh!t on his doorstep so to speak.
what is 600 dollars to football players ::confused::
why does Geno need to take the 600 the man sent him..buy A a ticket to go to Miami and when he sees the man again does not give him the money he did not use for the purpose for which it was sent?
then the man has to ask for the money..prolly because it was a charity event and he had to account for it. Geno agrees to pay the money back but never gets around to it. that s crazy stupid. the guys is a team mate. he is right there. you cant dodge him. he is on your door step and he is going nowhere.
the man has to ask Geno for the money several times. that giving the run-around. he does not want to pay. but how come ::confused:: he isn't working for peanuts. 600 dollars is nothing. but Geno does not want to pay.
but the report I got says that there was an argument and Geno was all up his face and got punched out. that is why I imagine Todd Bowles said pointedly on releasing the other guy, that he is aware it takes 2 to tango. he knows Geno is to blame.
that is why I call Geno stupid. he is a black man and he knows how black people stop. its not the money but making an ass out of people that causes the trouble. and Geno did that..did not even appear to care how it looked to others by not giving the money back.
he shud at least have been concerned how it looked to his team mates, who have to go out there and play for him, block and protect him and so on. by that kind of behavior surely he lost the clubhouse... Geno ::confused::
that is why I call him a jackass and cite his behavior as high risk. look at all he risked for 600 dollars..caused a big issue for 600 dollars he shud not have even touched just given it back if he could not carry out the commitment he had made to his colleague
that's beyond the ken man. and now he is not available for his team when they expected he would be, and they must be scrambling for a back-up QB at least.
Geno is done in he NFL. I would bet good money that by this time next year he is out of the NFL. he will be released and there will be no takers for his srvices

"I apologize to the Jets organization, coaches, teammates and fans," Enemkpali said in a statement his agent sent to Bleacher Report. "Geno and I let our frustration get the best of us, but I should have just walked away from the situation. I deeply regret and apologize for my actions. It was never my intention to harm anyone. I appreciate the opportunity I had with the Jets."

This is real funny, one can afford to get stiff the $600 and de other can afford to pay de $600, I think this was a set up to change quarterback!!!
