Drastic influx of immigrants in UK this year has forced David Cameron to meet other EU leaders and think the matter over. While UK considers the situation as one that is getting out of hands, about 330,000 migrants enter the country using the free EU movement provision.
The figures have shaken UK and the Home Secretary Theresa May emphasizes on the government's motive to promote EU movement in form of “freedom to move to a new job†instead of using the freedom to exploit new jobs and benefits.
The near future will experience a tighter immigration policy in EU countries especially UK, while benefits and amenities will also be cut down for immigrants, as restricting movement freedom within EU still seems to be an impossible hurdle to overcome by any EU member.

The basic EU commitment to free movement and EU citizens are integral to EU membership, and are effectively constitutionalised in the EU Treaties. Some of the UK's current proposals and practices are difficult to square with these commitments, which will inevitably lead to costly litigation before British and EU Courts.
