If the escalating global warming owed to human actions were not enough, nature is out to teach us a lesson as well, as the current El Nino events in the Pacific Ocean are claimed by experts as being the strongest to occur in 60 years. The wind shifts along the equator in the Pacific Ocean, also termed as the El Nino events result in further higher temperatures in Africa and Asia and heavy rainfalls in the South and North American regions.
Presence of three simultaneous Category 4 storms in the Pacific Ocean are a series of events expected to last almost a year, and if you are thinking summers are going to be any cooler soon, think again! And if you are a surfing fan, the South and North shores are expected to receive the waves you may have never imagined.

It’s really sad what we’re doing to our planet. It was the perfect place for us to live, but we have insisted in destroying it. Not only the summer was extreme, rainy season and winter will be ugly. I can’ believe people still don’t get how serious this is. There will be a time in which living in here is going to be impossible and all because we didn’t pay any attention to all the warnings.

It's a shame that this is still a debate. Especially when we do have alternatives that will be much more green and helpful for the environment. It's all about money I guess. I do realize that there isn't a ton of wealth in pro-environment technology, but I do feel like we'd be better off in the long run.
