The absence of a Tobagonian on the Independent bench is troubling, Tobago House of Assembly (THA) Chief Secretary Orville London has said.

In an interview with the Express yesterday, London said the absence of Tobagonians on the President's bench or the Opposition bench was quite glaring.

London spoke with the Express during the annual Friends of the Tobago AIDS Society (FOTUS) AIDS Walk from the Dwight Yorke Stadium to the Store Bay Beach facility.

In the last Parliament, Tobagonian Dr Victor Wheeler served as an Independent senator at the start of the Tenth Parliament.
