How about Eli Manning throwing to Odell Beckham Jr., Victor Cruz, Wes Welker and Hakeem Nicks?

The Giants are leaving no stone unturned when it comes to seeing what some older or broken-down players might have left in the tank. They hold workouts every week at the team facility, but Tuesday’s lineup features quite an array of former NFL talent, with Welker and Nicks joining another veteran out of the game: tight end Chris Cooley.

Welker, 34, became a free agent in March and has not garnered much interest. The receiver, who spent last season with the Broncos, has a long history of concussions. Welker has a history with the Giants: His dropped pass in Super Bowl XLVI curtailed a Patriots drive and helped the Giants embark on their winning drive.

Welker, a 10-year NFL veteran, at one time was the most dangerous slot receiver in the game. He has 890 career receptions and five times surpassed 100 catches in a season.
