Assad Ready For Presidential Election

Syrian president Bashar al-Assad said that he'd be ready for presidential elections if the Syrian people supported the idea. He reportedly also discussed potential amendments to Syria's constitution and considered the idea of parliamentary elections. This was all said in a meeting with Russian lawmakers in Damascus.
