This confuses me greatly.
There is much left to be desired on this post, what were the circumstances?
Were there people around? One would think if a tree was being cut down, firstly you'd stay clear, or secondly, that the people cutting down the tree would notice and say something along the lines of, "Hey get out of the way! We are cutting down a tree!"
People are odd.
