Tumatumari can be found in the Potaro-Siparuni Area.
Its people were Amerindians but now its a mixed village about 200 inhabitants.
The main forms of livelihood is mining for Gold and Diamonds.
In 1981 the Government established a Guyana National Service Center
so that it can teach the people about agriculture.
It also has the Tumatumari Waterfall which is in the area of the Klondike Hill and the Look-Out Mountain.
There is also a Landing there too.
