The Brooklyn Nets have fired their head coach Lionel Hollins and reassigned their general manger Billy King, citing the time "for a fresh start and a new vision for the direction of the team."

The Nets have the third worst record in the league this season at 10-27.

The team's owner, Mikhail Prokhorov, is holding a press conference at 10am Monday at Barclays Center.

The Nets do not have a game today. They have a home game on Monday night against San Antonio.

the man who is al fault here when one understands what went on is Prokhorov himself.  the man has been magnificently stupid as a directly involved, hands-on owner.  he single handed put his franchise into a vast, very deep hole that will grow deeper until at least 2019 when the Nets get draft picks again...and that is they draft well

IT IS HE PROKHOROV AND HE ALONE WHO INSISTED ON ALL OF THAT..SPENT ALL HIS DRAFT PICKS,  SPENT HIMSELF DEEP INTO THE LUXURY CAP FOR NO GOOD REASON AT ALL.  BILLY KING ONLY DID WHAT HE WAS TOLD TO DO BY PROKHOROV HIMSELF.

PROKHOROV IS A PURE NAKED BASKETBALL JACKASS AND RETARD.  HE MAY BE GOOD AT OTHER THINGS BUT AT RUNNING A BASKETBALL TEAM HE IS NOT
