Commuters and drivers should plan for a longer commute Tuesday following a passing storm system that will bring air from the North Pole into Toronto and the GTA, says Environment Canada.
“The general snowfall in Toronto will remain for Tuesday because of the passing air from the Northern parts of Canada that will remain cold enough to retain most of the snow,†says meteorologist Geoff Coulson.
Environment Canada encourages drivers to head out earlier on Tuesday morning. “By the time most commuters get up, there will already be around 3 centimetres of snow,†Coulson adds.
Five to 10 centimeters of snowfall is expected, beginning at midnight on Tuesday and lasting until the afternoon. According to Environment Canada, there an expected high of -1C and a low -12C on Tuesday with gusting winds blowing up to 70 kilometres per hour.
Monday kicked off a week of trying commutes for Torontonians. Drivers already struggling to open their icy car doors are expected to experience a week of slick and windy roads throughout the week.
Always tell someone how you feel because opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regret can last a lifetime.

No snow here from where I live but I do sure wish there is, lol. My husband lived in US for quite a while and he hates the snow season because they have to rake it, haha! My husband and his sister has to do that every time snow season comes in and their father is so lazy since he doesn't help at all. Lol, so maybe snow isn't all that glorious.
