Now this is just me, but I'm not so sure I'd trust the legitimacy of counterpunch news.

Counterpunch may not be reliable, but I don't think one can trust CNN, ABC, BCD, or any of the mainstream media anyways. So why worry. They're all unreliable in my book.

I have know counterpunch since it began. I followed its creator alexander cocburn..along with James Ridgeway... from his days as a columnist at the Village Voice in New York.
Counterpuch was legit up to the death of cockburn although it had begun to fray at the edges by then. cockburn himself seemed to leave his senses when he strongly defended to the day of his death, the official version of 9-11, in the face of all the evidence that pointed to that story as a lie
counterpunch is now a liberal wrag that one must know how to read to glean any value out of it at all. but what does this article say: that the cumulative effect of US attack on the world has left many parts of it in life expectancy decline!
what the hell is so mysterious about that ::confused::
that ought to be quite self evident...quite obvious. we know that if it is not actually so it must be very close to what is reported in that article which can be easily fact-checked
that is why I posted the link..because its content is plausible, evident! a certain starting point for the obvious case, argument, whatever to flow
