TEHRAN, Iran — Iran says it now has access to more than $100 billion worth of frozen overseas assets following the implementation of the nuclear deal with world powers.
Government spokesman Mohammad Bagher Nobakht says much of the money had been piling up in banks in China, India, Japan, South Korea and Turkey since international sanctions were tightened in 2012 over Tehran's nuclear program. His comments were posted on the website of state-run Press TV on Monday.
The landmark agreement brought about the lifting of international sanctions last month after the U.N. verified that Iran had curbed its nuclear activities.
Iran's semi-official ISNA news agency meanwhile quoted Central Bank official Nasser Hakimi as saying nine Iranian banks are now reconnected to SWIFT, a Belgian-based cooperative that handles wire transfers between financial institutions.
Always tell someone how you feel because opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regret can last a lifetime.

Great News for Iran. 100B is a lot of money. Although, now that I think about it, what are they going to do with all this new found cash? Nothing bad I hope.

Yes and turn them dollars into chinese money or something.
Anyways, Iran won a long time ago simply because it never faced problems trading with China, Russia, India, and other Arab countries even with the sanctions. People needed oil, and they gave Iran much needed goods, so the barter system trumped the economic system.

not to mention Iran went on a binge of self sufficiency..doing fuh self all they used to get from the west.
america lost big time here. Iran wanted nuclear weapons because of saddam. saddam was getting nuclear weapons ans so deh had to have their own.
so america take out Saddam and solved Irans problems and deh dropped nuclear weapons. and because Iran is solid with every one they started to grow in power and influence in the Vaccum Saddam left and the americans created by beating him out
then the Zio's an' dem get vex because Iran growing too powerful and blocking deh dreams in the region so deh decide to get deh america puppets to beat out Iran..accusing them of having what they did not want and were not doing...nuclear weapons.
now the deal is what was the original situation all along..the Iranians gave up all they never wanted and did not have until they were forced to master the nuclear cycle.
they gave it all up save they now have the nuclear cycle technologically and maintains nuclear reaction at the level they want for peaceful uses..as well as all they have done in self sufficiency, not to mention a high level of arms production and missile technology for convention arms which is what they do want.
they can rain down missiles on Isreal that even if conventional will still blast them out of the water. there is little difference these days between the power of conventional and nuclear blasts
