Wiggins!!! terrific. but I knew he would be and was seriously pissed with LeBron for letting him get away for Love. what a waste of time that was.
how did I know he would be more an asset to Cleveland than Love...because I knew Love as a good player but not great who was severely challenged in many ways..especially defensively.
Wiggins from college was not so challenged. he would be fine defensively, and would thrive with LeBron and Irving. those 2 would make his rookie status moot. they would lift him straight-away into high quality as a player. Wiggins would be better than Love from the get go. and love would have been much happier in Boston.
that LeBron is not very smart as a basketball man, a judge of talent and the needs of a team in terms of talent mix to get the job done. it would be wise for Cleveland to keep his profile very low in personnel decisions

lebron wants a championship in cleveland...hes never had one on HIS own.
the other 2 he had ppl backing him up, primarily Wade.
he didnt want Wiggins because he was too junior...but wanted Love because he thought he would prop him up for a win in Cleveland.
Wiggins is better off without King James...I am not fan of the King...although one cannot deny he has great skills.

yes. that is the conventional wisdom but its not relevant to the players involved.
Wiggins is an intelligent basketball players with all the upside in the world. his father made sure he developed an all round game. playing with LeBron and Irving it would not have been a case of a regular learning rookie full of mistakes, but a player ready to go at the professional level...just as he was in Minnesota
Love is a finished product at 27-28. he has no more upside. we have seen him at his best now and Wiggins starts almost at that level with much more to go. Wiggins is scoring in bunches and defensing top players on a weak team from the get go. imagine what he would have accomplished alongside James and Irving.
LeBron would not have had to prop up Wiggins. Wiggins is a player all round in his own right, ready to fit in and do his part full. Wiggins can do everything he needs to do...knows all he needs to know already. and his basketball IQ would drive him ahead fast...
LeBron made a big mistake..and very likely cost Cleveland the championship he so wants there..simply by trading Wiggins for Love >
