Very sad that he never was able to coach the National Team, considering that of all the current coaches are either too inexperienced or are at the verge of retirement, and that the team is in desperate need of someone with credibility, he could have been the perfect choice

Well that is certainly a bit of sad news. I remember watching him play when I was younger and always admiring his game. He was one of the better players on the Dutch team and one of the more exciting players to watch. I hope that he will be remember correctly and wish the best for his family and loved ones.
