that is rigid bureaucratic bullsh!t that justifies the arbitrary power of a parasitic social structure, based on exploitative ideology, the existential structure of which is government and its enforcement arms, that creates no wealth but depends on the taxes on the labor of the very victims of its rigidity for its sustenance...a parasitic and punitive social structure
it is only that the victims, the masses of the taxpayers, must be cowed and controlled at all times to ensure their timidity and conformation to the jobs they are assigned..to work and pay their taxes loyally..that such jaq'ass and dangerous enforcement rigidity is maintained and regularly expressed on the ordinary people in the public.
and very key is that some of us ordinary folk agree with our own enslavement and public humiliation that cannot possibly bring them any benefit. they like all of us, live with the threat of such public humiliation and danger to our families, that there we go too, upon any mistake we make or responsibility we forget to handle, or left to others who did not handle it by similar mistake..or even by mistake of others at the other end in dereliction of duty or other mistake
such brutal enforcement acts as this, in the wide open public for all to see, are example to the rest of us to 'behave' as we are told and directed, or else...
what the police surely did was to accost the citizen, in the process of taking his children to school, put cuffs on him, take him, dragged him to a station, leaving the children, right there to fend for themselves somehow.
that is the insanity of the rigidity called the law as expressed in the opinion directly above..ending up causing more more harm that a stupid video..by raising a supposed principle, an abstract empty something over and above life itself that is ever changing, ever evolving... and which requires general flexibility in general human response to life, in understanding and practice of life to avoid harm, to ensure human progress.....as opposed to applied rigidity that has no social value at all, is in fact totally destructive of social order, which order must be maintained by the very force we see applied here, by the official monopoly on violence in the hands of the police and military, controlled by the government.
all of this has as end purpose, only the only the maintenance of an inequitable status quo that keeps in place a privileged elite.
all officialdom had to do in this case was to locate the relative individual, after working out the cost of it all and send that to him for notification and payment. they could have had it hand-delivered with signature of receipt to make sure the individual was certain to be aware of his requirement to pay.
all that would have cost is a few dollars.
but to send policemen whose time costs lots of money every year on the public purse to arrest the individual, in public, make him lose work time, give him a criminal record, endanger his family, waste time at the station, be put in a cell for hours..relative to the what he is accused of... is an incredible piece of social chaos and horror that could have only one intent..cowing the people.
and in truth and in fact the individual in question who appears to be a responsible citizen from all description, probably and simply plain forgot to return the dam video on time.
