The office of the law firm that is firmly at the center of the whole panama papers scandal has now been raided twice. What's the point?
Since the data is already out, its fishy that they would go after the law firm instead of people who've actually been named in the firm's records. I think they're making a few key docs disappear- Clintons's records maybe. Because its amazing that they keep pointing to other world leaders, but a record $150 Billion black money left the US last year and I highly doubt that none of that money belongs to the Bush/Clinton/Koch syndicate.

It's elementary my dear Watson. If you want the evidence, you have to search the premises where the evidence is kept. And that happens to be in that office.

Mossack Fonseca was a well known reputable firm in the high net net circles. The authorities already had a good idea of who was using that companies services to incorporate offshore and open private bank accounts. What the real reasons for the investigation were only time will tell as the same investigation would throw up thousands of guilty bankers, politicians and officials if conducted across all the known popular tax havens.

Seems logical to me they will raid the law firm for further evidence. Although probably will find nothing worthwile. Also, putting money in offshore banks for tax evasion reasons is not illegal. So, actually not all of those rich and powerful listed there did something illegal. Only those with shady business money.
