first you must have a clutch to disengage the old gear..the regular season. that allows you to slip the new gear in called play off basketball.
deh dont have a play off gear that is why for 3 seasons tin a row hey have leaned nutten...just win the regular season then die in the plays offs.
Masai should be learning from this also. he needs a new coach and a whole new team attitude. so he needs to get at least one team leader who is a true leader, a nasty fellow who can do by whatever means necessary what is required to harness all the talents on the team and win.
that really talented, nasty fellow is not Kyle Lowry. Lowery is straight second fiddle as he has proved, a back-up somewhere after the end of the next season..or before if Masai can get a back good value for him in a trade.
it is also most definitely not DeRozan who should be playing elsewhere next season..prolly Los Angeles.
I would like to see Norman Powell take over one guard position and Cory Joseph the other. if Lowry is allowed to play out the last year of his contract he should do so off the bench.
meantime Masai must be of to get his 'Nasty', preferably a 3 or 4 guy who score from 3 point land to the rim..but who is also even more nasty on defense.
Toronto is full of nice guys at the forward positions. it is that they are nice..or their nasty is not being released by Casey. in any case it is time for Casey to go. I hate that he has not been rotating a defense at Paul Georg. I hate it that he cant get Toronto to play consistent defense and to manhandled teams not get manhandled ourselves... like Indiana is doing to us now
