Jags Aviation offering direct flights to Bartica

FLIGHTS to Bartica have now been made easier through Jags Aviation service. Deputy Mayor of Bartica, Nageshwari Kamal Persaud, has said the initiative is most welcome since it would make access to Bartica more efficient, because it takes only 20 minutes to travel from the Ogle International Airport on the East Coast of Demerara to Bartica in Region 7.The Bartica airstrip is located on the premises of the BK Quarries, and travellers would benefit tremendously from the operation of this new service as Barticians prepare for township celebrations this month.

“Persons from all parts of Guyana can access Bartica more easily now,” the Deputy Mayor said.

Inaugural township celebrations will be held on May 7. The airstrip will be maintained by BK Quarries, in collaboration with Jags Aviation.
