Customs kicks French anti-Semitic comic immediately out of Canada
An anti-Semitic French comedian was booted from Canada – just hours after being convicted in his country for breaking hate-speech laws.
Dieudonné M’bala M’bala landed Tuesday in Montreal, where he was scheduled to perform at 10 sold-out shows.
But authorities in the airport customs area saw nothing funny in his schtick, and turned him away, the Montreal Gazzette reported.
“But I will return. …I will be in Montreal tomorrow ‘in peace,’ †he wrote on his Facebook page before flying back to France.
The caustic comic, known simply as Dieudonné, 50, was fined $11,400 in France for his latest offense and also given a suspended two-month prison sentence for using anti-Semitic language on stage.
His hateful routines and violations of hate-speech laws have prompted Jewish groups, Montreal Mayor Denis Coderre, and many other Canadian politicians to say he is not welcome.
The Holocaust denier’s fans say he is misunderstood and that they appreciate his act, which pokes fun at France’s cultural and political elite.
“It would seem that the [Canadian Border Services Agency] made the right decision today,†said David Ouellette of the Centre for Israel and Jewish Affairs, the Times of Israel reported.
“Through his incitement to violence, glorification of terrorism, and anti-Semitic vitriol, he was clearly not admissible to Canada.â€
Dieudonné also has been barred in Great Britain and Hong Kong.

What a bunch of jackasses. That comedian and their summy supporters. Canada shouldn't have shut down his show for political correctness. Allow people poke fun of him and his
ludicrous hate speech. Then people will decide to give him a person non grata treatment.
