If I were organizing a Jubilee celebration in Guyana I would: mobilize communities throughout Guyana to clean up, provide them with garbage storage facilities and garbage trucks and requisite scope to safely disposal of garbage. Guyana so critically needs environmental conservation awareness and the capacity to keep communities garbage free.I would also ensure that all communities have portable drinking water and electricity free from interruptions and load shedding. These essential quality of life service shave remained more or less stagnant for decades. I would ensure that all roads are repaired and where needed new roads built so that transportation and movement would no longer be hindered in any way whatever. I would start the process of integration mental health acre into the existing physical health acre system and shore up the entire system to effectively and timely serve the population. I would have started the process of ensuring that every community have a community center, a play field and the scope for expanding recreation and games, that physical education become an essential part of the schools curricula and that all schools include an expanding games curricula to go beyond soccer and cricket and to include basketball, both forms of tennis, volleyball, the range of track and field events, hockey, rugby, netball and where possible other sports. I would have focused on a plan to provide employment, especially for youth and women...now this would have been a historic celebration, one that would have embedded the government in the bosom of the people and given the billions spent of the partying and pageantry, would have been affordable.

To encourage better disposal of garbage, the mayor should provide more trash bins and large containers across the street, also, just like in Germany, charge a fixed value price for every kg. of garbage the local waste collector company has to process, so stingy people will be doing a lot of recycling for moneysaving purposes. Hurting their purses is the best way to grow environmental conservation awareness.
