Road rage: e-biker fights pickup truck driver
Both parties were released under promises to appear in court

A road rage battle between an e-biker and a pickup truck driver ended Wednesday, police say, with the biker striking the truck with his helmet, and the truck running over the e-bike.
An officer witnessed the incident around the middle of the day. Two people from each vehicle were on the road arguing, and then a 41-year-old man who had been a passenger on the e-bike started hitting the pick-up truck with a helmet, hard enough to leave dents. He was subsequently charged.
Some time after that, police say, the e-bike was parked on a grassy area by the road when the driver of the pick-up truck mounted the curb and drove over it.
The driver, a 42-year-old man, was charged with Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle.
Both parties were released under promises to appear in court.
