Technology and me

  I havin difficulty fittin in this digital age. I had meself a flip phone which I was perfectly happy with but now I was presented with a LG 4 phone  which I like . I regard a cell phone as a device to make and receive calls I do  not text , Many times someone would phone me " Hey  Kwams , did you not get my text? "  My response , Why didnt  you  call , you callin now aint you?
I must however admit that I like how I have all these news  sites and blogs  that is available at my fingertips .
When my daughter gave me the phone , she specifically stated that we are sharing 4 gigabytes . She might as well have said gigawatts cause I  aint got a clue but 10 days later a warning popped up from Telus that I used up 90% of my data .  When I informed her she freaked out '  what were you doing to have used up that much'
I said the usual  You tube,News  music . 
You have WIFI  at home and at work , did you not use your settings'
I replied ' whats that ?
She has promised to teach me how to down load music but is seems complicated .
I  remember the old days when downloading was easy . All you need was two tape recorders with every one being silent and when the tape got screwed some one is always there with a pencil to rewind .
