(CNN)Papa was a Rolling Stone.
Mick Jagger is set to welcome his eighth child, according to Billboard.
The 72-year-old rocker and his 29-year-old girlfriend, American ballerina Melanie Hamrick are said to be expecting. The pair began dating in 2014.
Jagger has seven children ranging in ages from 45 to 17 and in 2014 became a great grandfather when his then 21-year-old granddaughter Assisi Jackson gave birth to a baby girl.
The Rolling Stones frontman will celebrate his 73rd birthday on July 26.
Jagger now joins band mate Ronnie Wood, 69, whose wife gave birth to twin girls over Memorial Day weekend.
Always tell someone how you feel because opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regret can last a lifetime.

I bet his jids are pissed, lol. Knowing that they have a new sibling born from someone who is much younger than them at that. I would, but it's OK though. That's life, his soldiers are strong haha.
I have never heard of a man having children at that age, but men are not women so I guess now I know the possibilities. Men can probably still have kids at the age of 100 years old. It'd be something to witness that in my time. I might be the one to make that happen.

Oh Gosh... What is this world coming to? Why would someone want to have a child at that age? You will most definitely never see them grow up!!! You just doomed your child to grow up without a father...

I guess it's cool to have a 29-year old girlfriend when you are in your 70s. Nice work, Mick! Keep on doing that way!

I agree. Everyone should live their best life possible... and Mick certainly has done his best to do that, but my concern is not for him or his beautiful girlfriend, it's for the little baby that he is (probably soon) going to leave behind...

What a dumb position to state .
Mick will live past my Dad's age of 95...
that would make his son a uni graduate at 23+ !
Toodles, indeed
