I really want to know this because I'm so tired of all of these elections, the corruption, and the people complaining about their governments and not doing anything about it, but are willing to pay taxes to continue to fund what they don't want.
Are there any countries on this planet where it's super peaceful, and they don't have to worry about politics? Or just a little politics, but they are actually for the people of their nation.

Does it really matter? With everything that you have to be dealing with right now you are going to concern yourself with all that? Anyway, if you stop focusing on all the corruption and start focusing on the change that you want to see then your reality will change magnificently. It's an individual thing. You usually see or get what you are predominantly focused upon. If all you can see is the bad, then you will only get that, but remember, even in those countries, there are people who thrive in the worst of times and there are those who don't thrive even in the very best of times. Again, it all comes down to individual perception.

I'm guessing it's ISIS. Did you forget that it's actually a country, according to them, of course? There are no politics whatsoever. Only restrictions under death threats and pretty high likelihood of getting murdered.

It doesn't matter what I think, it's the thought that matters, and all thoughts matter, so hell yeah it matters.
I'm not sure what you mean by everything I have to be dealing with right now, you don't know me.
"If all you can see is the bad, then you will only get that", unfortunately that statement is not quantifiable, so I can't agree with you on that one either. I think about the good and the bad, to me doing so means that I'm not going to be an individual who chooses to not accept all knowledge, as all knowledge is knowledge and good life can be derived from all knowledge.

take a time machine and go back to Guyana during the Kabaka rule!
Elections were rare and when they do happen, Kabaka will predict the results with great accuracy!
Corruption - the norm! one gotta join the party to get along
People complain - just quietly or go to jail.
