Hamilton was the brunt of a joke during P.K. Subban's comedy routine while hosting a Just for Laughs comedy gala in Montreal earlier this week.
Subban, who was traded to the Nashville Predators from the Montreal Canadiens in June in a move that shocked many, poked fun at plenty of things – including the city where he got his start in the pro hockey.

"One thing I've tried to do in all the cities I've played in, is immerse myself in the local culture. Like, when I played in Belleville, I learned how to sail. When I moved to Montreal, I learned how to speak French — right ladies?" Subban said to applause.
"And when I played in Hamilton, I learned to breathe through my mouth."
Subban played 77 games for the then AHL Hamilton Bulldogs in 2009-2010, scoring 53 points.
The former Hab also poked fun at his own comedy prowess at the charity gala, from which proceeds went to the Montreal Children's Hospital, where Subban previously donated $10 million.
"Athletes and comedy are like the Kardashians and books," he said.
Subban, who was a much-beloved figure in Montreal, thanked the Canadiens for helping him get his start in the NHL.
But he also made sure to throw some shade at the management team who shipped him out of town.
"Over the years people in Montreal embraced me with open arms — and those who didn't, well, those are the people who traded me."
