Venezuela's President Nicolas Maduro has declared a state of emergency to combat the economic war he says foreign powers and right-wing forces in Venezuela are waging against the Latin American country.
Venezuela has the world's highest inflation rate at 180% and there are shortages of basic goods as well as power shortages.
Opposition politicians have handed in a petition with 1.85 million signatures asking for a recall referendum to oust President Maduro from power.

Maduro did not accept the referendum call, the oposition had everything they needed to do it, but the goverment got the public powers by their side, it clearly is a dictatorship what this guy has here.
I've actually had to make lines for more than 6 hours trying to buy food, most of the times I could not even buy anything.

Haha, 1.85 million. I love that number, it shows they have a society of people who are willing to open their mouths. I hate what's going on out there, and it's be nice if the international community would help out but that's the way we treat each other when we are in desperate need.
I didn't know it was that bad. OF course he is going to declare that, he doesn't know how to fix it.
