Report: Husband Beheaded Texas Woman

A 23-year-old man in Bellmead, Texas reportedly beheaded his wife and kept her head in a freezer on Thursday in their mobile home, according to local reports. Davie Dauzat has been charged with first-degree murder. Officers went to the family's mobile home park around 11 a.m. The victim was later identified by a local TV station as 21-year-old Natasha Dauzat. The couple was in the trailer with a 1-year-old and a 2-year-old at the time, and reports said that David Dauzat was covered in blood when he finally emerged and turned himself in. “We located a deceased female. We have a suspect in custody who did have blood on him and we were able to talk him out of the home,” Bellmead police Sgt. Martin told the Waco Tribune-Herald. “Currently, it is believed that he did kill that female, but we are still investigating that to make sure and confirm that information is correct.” The children were turned over to child protective services. Dauzat was arrested after an hours-long standoff.
