US Mayors visited India to study non-violence championed by Mahatma Gandhi.

In the event of rising gun violence in US, mayors of  Cobleskill Linda Holmes (New York), Middleburgh Matthew Avitabile (New York) and Bluffton Freddie Odom (Georgia) visited India to study the philosophy of non-violence. They feel it is the only solution for the ongoing restlessness rising in US. It is a good thing that the importance of non-violence still prevails in the hearts of at least a few.

US is experiencing a sudden surge in gun violence across the State. According to mass shooting database more than 60 people were killed in gun shoot outs in 2016 which is five times more than previous year.
