The police officer who fatally shot Keith Lamont Scott, 43, in September will not be criminally charged, his attorney announced on Wednesday. Charlotte-Mecklenburg police officer Brentley Vinson was shown on video shooting Scott, who was ordered to drop his gun. The video's audio then recorded four shots, but they weren't visible to the camera. According to police, a gun, marijuana, and an ankle holster were found at the scene. Gov. Pat McCrory declared a state of emergency in the aftermath of the shooting, which caused nights of rioting and almost an entire week of street demonstrations. Scott was a father to seven children, and his father was a police detective. He suffered from a traumatic brain injury stemming from a 2015 motorcycle accident.
Always tell someone how you feel because opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regret can last a lifetime.

How about a world devoid of guns. It's done more harm than good I think. Don't know who is right or wrong but a father of seven gone.
