What is a Canje Pheasant? I assume a local bird, based on the picture. However, what is so special about it? I do appreciate the information.

Secondly, it is a folivore, meaning it eats leaves.
It has the ability to swim in order to avoid danger, but this skill is lost in adulthood
It can be found along the banks of rivers and its tributaries.
Its scientific name, Opisthocomus hoatzin, means
"pheasant with a crest down its back."
