A 38-year-old man from Thornhill is going to be cooling his heels for the next week – and maybe longer – after a stunt driving incident.
Ontario Provincial Police say they clocked a vehicle going 218 km/hr in a 100 km/hr zone on Highway 407 and Woodbine Avenue on Friday.
The driver has had his licence suspended and his vehicle impounded for seven days. He’s been charged with stunt driving, which carries with it a minimum fine of $2,000 and 6 demerit points for a first offence. He also faces a further driving ban.
Always tell someone how you feel because opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regret can last a lifetime.

Was late for a Cricket match at Stratford !
and the Volvo pelted down the Hwy.
I was clocked at 238 and escorted to the Cricket field.
Cop was British and stuck around and told me I bowled a good spell
Then handed me the ticket and a 12 hour suspension....
